this year has been a journey of unlearning, growin this year has been a journey of unlearning, growing, and reconnecting with my creative soul. what once felt like a chore now feels like joy. i’ve stopped chasing after a future version of myself and starting being who i know i am, a full-time creative in heart and spirit. even with a 9 to 5, creativity is in me always. this is not a rat race, it’s a voyage of alignment, growth, and prosperity. grateful to my heart for guiding me here. 🪴✨

16 days before my birthday I decided that I wanted 16 days before my birthday I decided that I wanted to crochet my birthday dress 😩 For the average person 16 days is nothing but I kinda procrastinated until the week of my birthday to really finish the bulk. I ended up not recording the rest because most of the time I spend crocheting the dress on the drive to New Orleans (where I celebrated my 30th) I’m honestly happy with how it came out because I frogged it like 3 times in the process. This was all free hand and I continued to try it on as I crocheted to make sure the proportions were correct. There are a few imperfections but I loved the way it came out and i know how to perfect my next dress in the future 🧚🏽☘️✨
